Birth preparation for expectant mums who don’t want to just
‘go with the flow’
Birth preparation courses created by a Mental Health Therapist and Birth Educator to help Mums-to-be navigate pregnancy, birth and the maternity system with confidence
you’re in the right place if You've found yourself thinking about birth a lot, but somehow still don't feel prepared…
Maybe you've been reading articles, saving Instagram posts and listening to other people's stories, but instead of feeling clearer, you actually just feel more overwhelmed. You want to know what to expect, feel confident in your decisions and trust that you'll cope when the time comes, but right now it feels like there are so many unknowns and no obvious place to start.
But here’s where preparing for birth starts to feel more simple
Most birth prep focuses on breathing techniques or giving you more information. But when things feel intense during labour, your brain isn't sitting there thinking, ‘What did that article say again?’ It needs tools you've already practiced and know how to use.
That's why I focus on preparing your mind AND body for birth.
Together we'll calm the overthinking, make sense of your options and give you practical tools that feel natural when you need them most.
So instead of second guessing yourself, you'll understand what's happening, feel confident in your choices and know how to handle things if plans change.
Because birth feels a whole lot less overwhelming when you understand what's happening and trust yourself to cope with whatever unfolds.
Choose the kind of support that feels right for you
Whether you want hands on support or something you can work through in your own time, all options are designed to help you feel calm, clear and confident going into birth.

Why working with me feels different
I'm Holly, a Mental Health Therapist, Birth Educator and Mum of two.
So alongside understanding how birth works, I also understand what it feels like to lie awake at 2am googling every symptom, questioning whether you’ve bough the right pram and feeling like your brain just won't switch off.
For over a decade I've helped people manage anxiety professionally, supporting them through uncertainty, overwhelm and some of life's biggest challenges. Then pregnancy gave me the chance to experience those same worries from the other side too.
And that's when I realised that knowing something logically and feeling confident enough to use that knowledge are two very different things.
That's why my approach combines evidence-based birth education with the mindset tools I’ve spent years using in mental health services.
Because understanding your birth options matters. But so does knowing what to do when anxiety shows up, plans change, or your brain starts convincing you that you can't handle what's ahead.
My goal absolutely is not to tell you what kind of birth to have, but to help you feel informed, supported and confident enough to make the decisions that are right for you.
